The working location for this role is based in Beijing, China.

Singapore Airlines is recruiting multiple Generative AI and Deep Learning experts to drive the implementation of the company's AI and data science strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• As a core member of the company's AI Center of Excellence, solve challenging problems in cutting-edge AI fields, including generative multimodal AI, autonomous agents, natural language processing, computer vision, and recommendation systems, while also involving mathematical optimization and experimental design.
• Research and develop advanced machine learning algorithms to meet complex product requirements. Work includes: proposing hypotheses, designing and executing experiments, evaluating and optimizing algorithms, while ensuring solutions are easy to implement in the cloud, scalable, robust, and can operate stably in customer-facing production environments.
• Provide technical guidance to junior and senior data scientists in kanban data teams. These teams provide generative AI, data science, and data analytics services to various business departments. Serve as a technical advisor in your AI expertise area.
• Work closely with business departments to develop impactful intelligent features and products. Coordinate the work of team members including data scientists, data engineers, and data strategists. Fully control key AI processes.
• Manage and maintain high-performance cloud and local GPU computing resources for large-scale machine learning model training and deployment of inference API microservices in production environments.

Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related AI disciplines (requirements may be relaxed for exceptionally qualified candidates).
• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and technical leadership abilities.
• Proficient in Python programming with solid skills in algorithm design/analysis, data structures, and SQL. Mastery of functional/object-oriented software development in at least one modern programming language.
• Over 5 years of relevant industry experience in traditional and deep machine learning, with expertise in:
  • Familiarity with the latest proprietary/open-source large language model APIs
  • Skills in multi-agent system development and LLM prompt engineering
  • Proficiency in GPU-accelerated deep learning frameworks such as Py Torch, MLX
  • Ability to quickly understand, implement, and deploy the latest AI research findings
  • Extensive experience with public clouds such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and mentoring skills, able to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum/Kanban development methodologies is preferred.
• Understanding of Bayesian statistics/inference and the application of Bayesian/causal networks in probabilistic reasoning.
• Proficient English reading, writing, and communication skills are required.
