Legal & Compliance Counsel (Medical Device)

My client is a leading medical device company dedicated to advancing healthcare through innovative solutions, they are currently looking for a Legal & Compliance Counsel to be part of the team. In this newly created role, you will support their business by managing compliance programs and providing legal guidance on regulatory matters, with a strong focus on engaging healthcare providers and government regulators.


Salary: Up to $12,000 (with AWS and Bonus)

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all company operations align with local and international medical industry standards, including legal requirements and ethical standards for medical device manufacturing, marketing, and sales.
  • Serve as the primary contact for healthcare providers and government regulatory bodies, fostering strong relationships and maintaining open channels for communication on compliance and regulatory matters.
  • Create, update, and implement compliance policies and procedures, focusing on areas such as anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and interactions with healthcare professionals.
  • Review all contracts including distributor agreements and master service agreements etc.
  • Provide legal support and advice on various corporate matters.
    • Identify and mitigate compliance risks by developing and overseeing compliance programs, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law or related field.
  • 4-6 years' experience gained preferably from the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
    • Experience in compliance within the medical industry is highly desirable.
