Job Description

Manage and allocate company’s fleet of vehicles and machinery to support operations, and at the same time ensure that fleet is well maintained through timely servicing, inspections, appropriate repairs, etc,.
Direct team activities, establishing task priorities, scheduling and tracking work assignments, providing guidance, and ensuring the availability of resources.
Direct and facilitate the recovery process of broken-down vehicles and machineries, ensuring follow-ups are complete.
Handle accident reports and the subsequent follow-ups, which includes evaluating the repair cost/ quotes, submitting relevant reports, handling insurance claims/ settlements, etc,.
Order, maintain and track workshop inventory of spare parts, tools, buffer stocks, etc,.
Submission of weekly and monthly reports
Plan, organize, and execute logistics support activities, such as inspections, maintenance planning, repair analysis, test equipment recommendations, and warehouse management.
Manage contractor activities, reviewing proposals, and serving as liaisons between contractors and the company.
Review logistics performance against targets, benchmarks, and service agreements.
Review contractual commitments, customer specifications, or related information to determine logistics or support requirements.

Requirements

Minimally a Diploma in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, or equivalent
1-3 years of experience in mechanic works
Has a valid Class 3 Driving License
Able to commit to a 5.5-day work week
Expereince in the construction industry would prove advantageous
