Job Description:
TAKA Hardware & Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to manage our purchasing and supplier management functions. This role is essential in ensuring the timely acquisition of quality materials and services required for our hardware engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and engage with suppliers to meet the company’s procurement needs.
- Prepare and process purchase orders in compliance with company policies and requirements.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing to secure the best deals with suppliers.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely reorders to avoid shortages.
- Conduct supplier performance reviews and maintain positive relationships with vendors.
- Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to forecast procurement needs.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with legal and regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and invoices.
- Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in procurement, preferably within the engineering or hardware industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of supply chain management, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
- Attention to detail and high level of organizational skills.
