The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Singapore is a Foreign Service Mission with many and varied tasks. We cooperate closely and share office space with Innovation Norway and Norwegian Business Association Singapore (NBAS). Together we form “Team Norway” and work to promote Norwegian interests in Singapore.
Job description:
We are looking for a service-minded colleague who can contribute positively to our team at the Embassy in Singapore. The position will be part of the administrative and consular team. Among the tasks will be planning and managing of the Embassy’s many events and visits throughout the year, and in addition customer service and handling of consular inquiries.


Qualifications:

• Must have good written and oral presentation skills

• Must have good knowledge of computer applications

• Must be able to work evenings when required

• Must be based in Singapore

• Experience with social media is an advantage

• Experience from public administration is an advantage

• Experience from project work is an advantage
  

Personal skills:

• Being service-minded and flexible with an eye for detail

• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as a team player

• Having solid communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to demonstrate cultural awareness and sensitivity, integrity and a professional approach to work

Terms and Conditions:

• Type of employment: Full-time position

• Staff recruited locally are subject to Terms and Conditions of Service according to local employment law

• Working hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 – 16:30

• 25 days annual holiday

• Salary according to agreement

• Commencement date: 2 January 2025
