Our client is a freight forwarding company. They are looking to expand the India region and is seeking for a Regional Logistics Executive to manage the warehouse operations in Chennai.
Responsibilities:

To develop, enhance, establish and document SOP’s and systems for logistics and distribution process.
Collaborate efficiently with clients, external vendors, custom brokers in the India region.
Coordinating and managing shipping arrangements and documents.
Prepare shipping instruction based on clients' instructions.
Prepare accurate quotations for clients and diligently follow-up on the statuses to close sales.
Foster and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
Work closely with HQ to undertake any new projects.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in logistics or relevant.
Minimum 3 years of experience in freight forwarding and/or logistics industry.
Possess knowledge in freight forwarding industry in both Singapore and India.
Highly motivated and result-driven
Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
Willing to travel between Chennai, India (stay for 3 months) and Singapore (2 weeks)
Travel allowance will be provided
