Resident Engineer

We are seeking a qualified Resident Engineer (Civil and Structural) to oversee and manage civil and structural works for construction and A&A projects. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with project specifications, local regulations, and quality standards throughout all project phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Supervision: Lead and manage site supervision activities for all civil, structural, and building construction works, ensuring compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
- Technical Oversight: Conduct regular site inspections to assess the progress of construction work and verify adherence to safety and quality protocols. Identify and address any issues that arise during construction.
- Defect Management: Identify and document defects in construction work, overseeing rectification efforts to ensure compliance with project specifications and timelines.
- Collaboration: Liaise with the design team, Qualified Person (QP), and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical challenges and ensure project alignment.
- Meetings and Reporting: Organize and participate in site/project meetings with contractors, providing updates on progress and discussing technical matters. Prepare and submit regular progress reports to management.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety regulations on-site, promoting a safe working environment and ensuring that all personnel adhere to safety protocols.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to guarantee that all works meet the specified standards and project requirements.
- Additional duties as required by senior management.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- More than 5 years of relevant experience.
- Registered RE accredited by the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient in project management software and familiar with local building codes and regulations.
