Introduction
This is a strategic procurement role that is critical to ensure competitive supply of high-quality materials and services to the Global Foundries Singapore operations. The role is global in nature, with a large pool of stakeholders and leadership team in Singapore, Malaysia, Germany, and the US
Essential Responsibilities:

• Define sourcing strategy(s) for assigned commodity(ies) in alignment with the objectives of the Global Supply Management organization and the respective Global Commodity Head
  
• Plan and conduct commercial negotiations and support global negotiations as required
  
• Actively utilize strategic tools, processes & systems to perform sourcing and analytical/reporting tasks (Jaggaer, Spend Analytics, Power BI, Clean sheeting, Negotiation Planners, SAP Ariba, SAP i Certis, etc).
  
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities, alternative sourcing strategies, global price trends, and communicate progress / achievements to realize maximum value and organizational objectives
  
• Monitor the local and global market to identify potential new suppliers, product derivatives, and product innovations
  
• Analyze, manage, and control contractual agreements and prepare renegotiations to achieve commercial and technical objectives
  
• Establish a robust business continuity sourcing plan for assigned commodity(s) via mapping supply base and geographic risks with corresponding mitigation plans
  
• Support escalations from Regional Strategists by engaging suppliers for prompt resolutions
  

Other Responsibilities:

• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Science, Business Administration and/or relevant field of study
  
• 2-4 years relevant work experience in an industrial environment
  
• Proficiency in sourcing related skills including sourcing strategy development and execution, contract management and supplier performance management
  
• Ability to lead projects and cross-functional teams
  
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to motivate and influence stakeholders and team members
  
• Good problem-solving skills, in analytics
  
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally including China, Malaysia, Japan, USA, and Germany from time to time
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of process materials used in electronics manufacturing, quality requirements and related supply base
  
• Experience in a semi-conductor environment or related industry
