DESIGNATION : Senior Associate (Products/Inventory Support)
RESPONSIBILITIES
This role is part of the Inventory team to manage the stock allocation to all our stores format, plan for stock take and obtain approval on stock take results with your investigation.
The incumbent is responsible for demand planning and ordering to ensure optimal inventory level in our Warehouses, and he/she is expected to:
- Work together as a team of inventory planners to achieve Service Level and Costing KPI and solving operational issues.
- Liaise with buyers, suppliers, warehouses, and various other stakeholders, including coordinating the delivery with suppliers and distribution centres.
- Handle all matters relating to inventory such as clearance of short shelf life and aging stocks, rectify stocks issues, process allocation to stores, compile inventory-related reports as well as advise on any inventory-related enquiries (out of stock queries, offer stock, etc).
- Be involved in projects and contribute to the organization with continual process improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain or related disciplines
- Preferably 2 years of relevant experience in Inventory Planning and Ordering
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Other Ms Office Applications
- Knowledge of SAP systems will be an added advantage
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Team player and ability to collaborative and work effectively with a variety of stakeholders etc.
- Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Good written and verbal communication skills
