Responsibilities:
- Handle full set of accounts and ensure timely preparation of monthly financial reports and cash flow statements.
- Assist with month-end closing and reporting.
- Prepare ECI (Estimated Chargeable Income) and corporate tax returns.
- Prepare responses to queries from IRAS.
- Prepare Corporate Income Tax provision calculations for month-end closing.
- Work with tax consultants on Transfer Pricing documentation.
- Prepare and file regulatory returns to authorities, including GST returns, income tax computation, and annual returns in XBRL format.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts, bank reconciliations, and cash monitoring.
- Prepare yearly budgets.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax agents.
- Prepare yearly audit schedules and GL accounts reconciliation.
- Maintain detailed financial documentation and filing systems.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
- Minimum Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent.
- At least 3-4 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Strong knowledge of and experience in applying Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, Singapore GST, and corporate tax requirements.
- A team player with strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Hands-on, independent, mature, meticulous, and with an eye for detail.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight reporting deadlines.
- Good command of both verbal and written English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates.
