Position Summary
The Service Now Architect will lead and maintain the Service Now platform, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of the organization. This role requires strong leadership and technical expertise to implement new initiatives from the Transformation team, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and continuously enhance and uplift the platform. The ideal candidate will drive the adoption of best practices, automate key processes, and ensure all solutions align with industry standards and company policies.

The Service Now Architect will lead and maintain the Service Now platform, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of the organization. This role requires strong leadership and technical expertise to implement new initiatives from the Transformation team, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and continuously enhance and uplift the platform. The ideal candidate will drive the adoption of best practices, automate key processes, and ensure all solutions align with industry standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive complex input from Product and business stakeholders, translate into requirements, and map them onto Service Now functionality
- Design and implement IT related process workflows, procedures and technical standards
- Provide technical expertise and participate in implementing new Service Now functionality and uplift the Service Now platform
- Provide technical expertise and participate in implementing new Service Now functionality
- Automate CMDB processes for improved accuracy and efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment of Service Now solutions
- Act as the key advisor on Service Now best practices and integration strategies
- Develop comprehensive documentation for Service Now processes and architecture
- Provide training and support to teams on the effective use of the Service Now platform
- Ensure that all implementation work is carried out in accordance with the company policies and industry best practices
- Lead and participate in system and integration testing, ensuring best practices are followed
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the capacity to inspire and guide teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or related field
- Service Now certifications or relevant module certifications are highly desirable
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Service Now architecture and implementation including process automation, data imports, web service integration
- Strong technical skills with minimal 5 years of experience using Service Now platform including ITSM, ITOM and CSM
- Strong organizational skills and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Experienced in the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes including requirement analysis and system design
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes
- Proven track record in leading Service Now transformation projects
- Solid communication skills, and the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas and technical designs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
- Service Now certifications in one or some of the areas such as System Administrator, Application Developer, Snow Implementation are highly desirable
