Specialist, Fin Reporting & Accounting, Group Finance (1 year Direct Contract)

Group Finance aims to deliver world-class standards in reporting, financial planning and finance processes. We provide insights and analyses that help the bank make sound business decisions – whether in the areas of product development or customer profitability. We also provide capital management, business planning, forecasting, and tax and accounting advisory services.The bank is also a certified Accredited Training Organisation (ATO) for the Singapore Qualification Programme by the Singapore Accountancy Commission and an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Approved Employer.
Responsibilities
- Member of the team responsible for the delivery of the Group's financial statements.
- Responsible for the monthly financial accounts closing process for the Bank and Group.
- Responsible for the preparation, review and analysis of the Group's financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements as well as Group accounting policies.
- Responsible for the preparation of the year-end statutory accounts and other financial information as required by the relevant authorities,
- Participate in the review of accounting treatment and financial disclosures of the Group's products and services.
- Participate in Finance project initiatives which involve process reviews, system enhancements and new system inplementation.
- Degree in Accounting/Finance
- At least 5-8 years of relevant working experience
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong in SFRS / IFRS technical knowledge
- Comfortable working with large amounts of data
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proven success in staff management
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Office 365 and financial management systems
