Staff Nurse (Cath Lab)

As a Staff Nurse (Cath Lab), you will be responsible for the following duties:
  • Assist Cardiologists with catheterization processes.
  • Perform assessment, evaluation and documentation of patients’ condition.
  • Preparing for operations, which requires sterilization of the space and shaving the patient at the catheter insertion site if required.
  • Assist in procedures such as continuous cardiac monitoring, venepuncture and venous cannulation.
  • Provide quality nursing care to the patient.
  • Monitor the patient’s vitals and sedation during and after operations.
  • Provide patient education on pre and post procedures.
Requirements:
  • Registered with Singapore Nursing Board.
  • Minimum Diploma in Nursing.
  • Experienced working in Cath Lab department will be an advantage.
  • Able to do on-call duties (rostered).
