Job Role: Sales Development Representative
We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to identify and generate new business opportunities for Alphastory.co. We're looking for someone with a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. As an SDR, you will play a crucial role in our sales process by engaging with potential clients, understanding their needs, and setting the stage for successful partnerships.
The ideal candidate will have 0-3 years of experience in a front-facing capacity. We're looking for someone comfortable with developing the sales funnel from end-to-end outreach to closing, and execute strategies based on hypotheses. You'll be working closely with the locally based founding team, and we're always open and flexible to well-reasoned suggestions. We'd be keen to engage someone who has a sharp eye for identifying sales opportunities and maximizing revenue-based objectives. We believe in offering attractive compensation packages to attract the best talent, with significant commissions on sales.
Key Responsibilities:
  • You'll be guided and mentored by an experienced sales team.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop and refine outreach strategies and messaging.
  • Initiate outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, email outreach, and social media engagement, to generate qualified leads.
  • Qualify inbound leads and inquiries, assessing their fit with our services and passing them to the sales team.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
  • Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for the sales team with qualified prospects.
  • Provide feedback to the marketing team on lead quality and campaign effectiveness.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma
  • Proven experience in sales, lead generation, or a similar role, preferably in a tech or PR environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with potential clients.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
