Our client is an established full-service law firm in Raffles Place which undertakes substantial regional and cross-border work. Their area of expertise ranges from banking and finance, conveyancing, employment law, intellectual property, technology, franchising, competition law, litigation, insolvency to medical negligence. They are currently expanding and are looking for legal associates who are motivated, pro-active and able to work in a team.
They are looking for a passionate and committed individual to join them as:
Trademark Paralegal
Job Summary:
The Trademark Paralegal is to assist the lawyers on a range of Intellectual Property matters within the practice group.
Job Description:

Preparation and filing of trademark, and design applications;
Monitoring the trademark and design application process and reporting to clients;
Managing the billing processes;
Preparing cost estimates;
Liaising with clients and overseas counsel on the application statuses;
Keeping updated records to all applications that have been filed;
Monitoring and managing reminders and deadlines to ensure timely actions;
Offering administrative support to lawyers and the firm.

Job Requirements:

In-depth knowledge and experience in IP related work;
Proficiency in English, both spoken and written;
Excellent knowledge of Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel.
Possess a positive work attitude and able to work with a team;
Ability to maintain tact and diplomacy, trust and confidentiality;
Highly organized and accurate with a high level of attention to details.
Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment to meet aggressive deadlines;
Must be able to work independently.
