Elite Asia is based in Singapore, and provides translation, transcription, and interpretation services in several major Asian languages. The company has representative offices, language partners and translators in major Asia Pacific cities. Elite Asia helps clients establish a presence in the Asian-speaking community, while retaining their distinct voice. The company's translations help businesses grow their opportunities for new clients and better internal communication.
Role Description
This is a Uzbek Translator (preferably someone based in Singapore) The Uzbek Translator will be responsible for translating a range of documents and materials under tight deadlines, ensuring accuracy and consistency of terminology and upholding high standards of quality and confidentiality. The role also involves signing (online/onsite) the translated document for approval
Why We need Singapore based translator?
The Translator can do the translation online or remotely but the translator need to sign the translated document to approve the document in the onsite office.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Uzbek and English languages
- Stay/Based in Singapore (preferably)
- Experience in the translation and localization industry is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Translation, Languages, Linguistics or a related field is an advantage
- Excellent translation skills with the ability to produce accurate translations that read naturally and fluently in both languages
- Proficiency with computer-assisted translation tools
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain consistent terminology and communication style across translations
- Effective time management skills to meet tight deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
