Path Care Vermaak is a partnership of pathologists in private practice which assists doctors and healthcare
professionals to determine and confirm diagnoses. The company is registered with the HPCSA (Health
Professions Council of South Africa) and all our laboratories are SANAS accredited.
An opportunity exists for an Entry-level Medical Technician or an Entry-level Medical Technologist at the
Raslouw Laboratory in Centurion. We seek an individual with a high level of ethics and integrity who displays a
proven track record of aligning with the Path Care Vermaak values.


Technologist/Medical Technician Certificate in Clinical
Pathology

• Current registration with the HPCSA in Clinical

Pathology

• Computer literate with Skylims knowledge is

advantageous

• Knowledge/understanding of the stock management

system

• 1-3 years of Clinical experience post HPCSA

registration

• Experience in technical procedure development and

implementation

• Experience in maintaining QA Systems

• Problem-solving ability (including QC and instrument

related)

competency.
