As we continue to expand our footprint, we are looking for a dynamic and motivated External Sales Representative to join our Johannesburg team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities by targeting architects, builders, contractors, developers, and homeowners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
- Conduct site visits and product demonstrations to showcase the benefits of Timmdek's composite building materials.
- Provide clients with product knowledge, technical specifications, and professional advice to assist in their purchasing decisions.
- Achieve sales targets and objectives set by the company.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential customers.
- Stay informed about industry trends and market competitors.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the Timmdek brand.
- Collaborate with the internal sales team, management, and marketing to ensure cohesive brand messaging and customer service.
- Proven experience in external sales, preferably in the construction or building materials industry.
- Strong network of contacts within the Johannesburg building and construction sector.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and meet sales targets.
- Technical knowledge or a willingness to learn about composite building products.
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport are essential.
- Competitive base salary with commission ranging between R5,000 and R20,000 per month after successful completion of the probation period.
