The IIE's Varsity College, Durban North Campus has a vacancy for a Lecturer: Computer Science - Programming (Part-Time) available for the 2024 academic year.

Minimum Education Requirements:

• An Honours degree or higher in Computer Science/Information Systems/Information Technology
• Programming, Program Logic & Design, and Databases as one of the applicants' tertiary modules is required.

Minimum Work Experience Requirements
Lecturing experience in programming.

• Work experience as a software developer/ application developer/ software development in engineer.
  

Experience in one or more of the following technologies:

• Java
• NET (C#, .NET Core, ASP.net MVC, Blazor, UWP)
• Java Script (React, Angular, etc.)
• Cloud Development (Azure, AWS, etc.)
• Mobile Application Development (Android/i OS)
• Database Systems (SQL, Oracle, No SQL, Firebase, Mongo DB, etc.)
• Operating Systems (Windows/Linux)
