What you will enjoy doing
What makes you great
- As a Millwright you will ensure that the plant is soundly maintained with regards to all electrical & mechanical needs of the various equipment and system in the ASU (Air Separation Unit) and associated buildings to ensure optimum plant availability, reliability, efficiency & safety
- You will be expected to repair, service & maintain piston/screw compressors, pumps various mechanical valves, cooling towers, heaters, electrical panel switching, isolation and maintenance (below 11Kv) connect & disconnect various motors
- Maintaining plant equipment's as per the planned maintenance schedules, ensuring that equipment is conditionally monitored to ensure safe operations as well as extend its useful life will be high on your agenda
- Additionally, you will repair electrical and mechanical equipment timeously following breakdowns in safe manner while minimizing production down time
- Lastly, you will contact & manage the electrical/Mechanical contractors where skill and expertise are outside of scope of qualification
What makes you great
- A Trade tested as a Millwright, with minimum qualification of Matric could be achieved by you
- You possess 4 years relevant experience in working with planned maintenance, condition-based maintenance as well as breakdown maintenance and fault finding
- Knowledge of process systems, including instrumentation, Programmable Logic Control's Software and Hardware
- Knowledge of Medium voltage, Refrigeration system, Pneumatics system, Hydraulic system and Hazard's associated with gases is required of you
