Job Title: Professional Assistant to the CEO
Location: JHB/Durban, South Africa (with local and international travel)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Professional Assistant to the CEO with a finance or law degree/legal background. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-level administrative support, drafting, reviewing, and managing legal documents and contracts, and coordinating travel arrangements. This role offers significant growth opportunities within a diverse and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the CEO, including managing schedules, organizing meetings, and handling correspondence.
  • Legal Documentation: Draft, review, and manage legal documents and contracts for the group of companies, ensuring compliance with local and international laws.
  • Contract Management: Oversee the process of contract execution and maintenance, ensuring that all agreements are up-to-date and properly filed.
  • Legal Research: Conduct legal research and provide insights on various legal matters to assist the CEO in decision-making.
  • Travel Coordination: Arrange and coordinate local and international travel plans for the CEO, including accommodations, transportation, and itineraries.
  • Meeting Coordination: Prepare agendas, documents, and presentations for meetings, and ensure follow-up on action items.
  • Communication: Serve as a liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders, maintaining professional and effective communication.
  • Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Growth Opportunities: Engage in projects that offer professional development and growth within the company, including potential leadership roles in the future.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Finance or Law/strong legal background.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, with a focus on legal documentation and administrative support.
Skills:
  • Excellent legal drafting and document review skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Travel: Willingness to travel locally and internationally as required.
