We have a FANTASTIC opportunity for people who have a true passion for identifying sales opportunities to maintain and build our Clients customer base, whilst delivering an exceptional customer experience. Join us and help us launch a brand new campaign to Teleperformance South Africa!
The successful candidate will have a proven track record within a similar retentions/sales/regulated/scripted/scripted environment, strong communication, questioning and negotiating skills with the ability to identify customer needs quickly to grasp every opportunity to retain customers, and/or close new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities:
- Responding to inbound customers and colleagues escalated sales queries to identify, qualify and close new business and renewal opportunities.
- Understanding customers’ reasons for exploring cancellation, addressing these positively, identifying opportunities, and looking at various options available with the ultimate aim of retaining their business.
- Selling a range of products and closing up-selling and cross-selling opportunities within set procedures in order to achieve sales, retention and productivity targets.
- Striving for First Call Resolution, on every customer contact.
- Working closely with service colleagues to raise service standards through escalating issues and opportunities to the most appropriate person, developing joint solutions and sharing best practice.
- Undertaking other customer administration and product processing activities as necessary to maximise operational effectiveness and deal with peaks in demand.
- Proactively developing your customer service skills and knowledge, applying best practice techniques and tools and demonstrating our client's People Expectations to maximise your performance and exploit our investment in your training and development.
- Complying with all our clients required standards of sales/service excellence and best practice, operating effectiveness and legal and regulatory requirements.

- Minimum of 1 years’ experience working within a similar sales driven environment.
- Have an enthusiastic, upbeat and proactive attitude and enjoy working towards targets.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Experience working within the Financial Services Industry or similar Regulated Industry (highly advantageous).
- Have an excellent command of the English language.
- Curious, Team Spirited and Big Hearted.
- A positive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
- Have the ability to effectively question customer to find the root cause of their query and translate this into real actions to maintain a happy customer.
- An exceptionally driven and motivated individual with the passion for succeeding in a fast paced environment.
- Have the ability to build rapport with customers giving a human touch to the conversation.
- Maintain campaign performance, quality, regulatory and compliance standards.
