Job Description & Summary
A career in Deals Valuation, will provide you with the opportunity to help organisations unlock greater value from existing assets and ongoing capital expenditures as well as new acquisitions, investments, and complex corporate arrangements. We focus on a series of services, such as acquisition and disposal valuation advice including deal pricing and negotiation support, strategic value consulting for improvement of corporate and capital management decisions, financial modelling and value analysis. In short, upon being a member of our team, you will support clients to make profound strategic decisions, better conduct business transactions and decisions, appropriately allocate capital investment, and satisfy regulatory requirements with professional skills and in-depth industry knowledge.

Pw C Deals is a leading Corporate Finance, Transaction Services and Business Recovery advisory business in South Africa and is currently experiencing growth, driven by long term client relationships and a strong senior team. In order to take full advantage of the existing growth opportunities, we are looking for ambitious and highly motivated people to join our team .

Roles & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have a support role to play in the team across a b road range of valuations including for:

acquisitions,
disposals,
financing and debt advisory,
private equity,
due diligence investigations,
post deal services,
financial reporting and
audit assistance .

The candidate will gain exposure to a wide range of clients, from global multinationals through to entrepreneurial, owner managed businesses, covering both domestic and cross border work .

Requirements

Post graduate qualification
CA (SA) would be advantageous
CFA or studying towards CFA would be advantageous
12+ months of valuation experience

To be successful in this role,

Strong financial skills are critical .
High level of agility in a demanding environment .
Able to effectively communicate with a broad range of stakeholders .

Exceptional project management skills will be considered fundamental together with a motivated and commercially astute approach.

Good interpersonal and client relationship skills; An interest in and knowledge of the financial markets;

Problem solving capabilities;

A desire to build on commercial and industry knowledge;

Negotiation skills;

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, including the ability to write succinct, well-structured reports and client communications;

A well-organised , detail oriented and self-directed individual who can relate to people at all level s of an organisation.

Proven ability to multitask and ensure effective delivery of the priorities to meet targets and objectives .
