As a Regulatory Affairs Manager/Senior Specialist, you will be responsible for the product approval and maintenance of compliance in the different markets for the entire Health Nutrition & Care (HNC) business unit. Advises/ provides recommendations to Marketing and Sales, Product Management, DSCM, and Purchasing in all regulatory-related matters. Provide regulatory-specific support to marketing and sales for customer-related activities, including customer presentations/ workshops, alignment of customer quality agreements, and specifications sign-off.

Your key responsibilities

• Manage the dossiers preparations for Product approvals in collaboration with Global or Regional Regulatory Affairs, Regional Business, Project Management, R&D functions, consultants etc. based on regional and global regulatory affairs strategies of HNC.
  

• Submit dossiers to the local authorities, follow up on the approval process and communicate progress in a timely manner.
  
• Provide regulatory support on dsm-firmenich’s Products for customer’s finished goods registration e.g., Health Functional Food (HFF), etc.
  
• Ability to perform regulatory risk assessments, mitigation plans and recommendations, as needed.
  
• Contribute to the global product approval strategy in a timely and accurate manner.
  

• Proactive monitoring of changes in the regulatory environments with timely correspondence with internal and external stakeholders.
  

You bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Nutritional Science, Food Science or related disciplines
  

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in regulatory affairs in food, health supplement and Food with Function Claim Industry
  

• Strong experience in Health/ Dietary/ Food Supplements and Food regulations including Korea regulations, CODEX, EU Food Regulations, FCC, Pharmacopoiea, etc.
  

• Good language skills (Korean, English & other languages a plus)
  

• Collaborative and cross-functional team working skills to develop good relationships with stakeholders across regions and departments.
  

• Good influencing skills for regulatory-related decision making
