About Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts:
Four Seasons Hotel Madrid, a collection of seven heritage buildings is ideally situated near the business district and close to Madrid’s major tourist attractions. A historical landmark redefining elegance, sophistication and urban luxury, located in Centro Canalejas Madrid.
After a careful restoration, Four Seasons Hotel Madrid, is home to 200 guest rooms including 39 suites, 22 luxury residences, a dynamic brasserie that combines Michelin-starred specialties with traditional Andalusian cuisine including an expansive roof terrace, an informal gastrobar, where delicious Asian-inspired tapas pair with epicurean signature cocktails, a cutting-edge Spa, stylish function spaces and luxury retail.
The Role of Assistant Director of Engineering:
We currently have an opportunity for an Assistant Director of Engineering to join our team! This role reports to the Director of Engineering, and will be responsible for assisting the Director of Engineering in all aspects of the hotel and building maintenance; including electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, heating/cooling, painting, carpentry, structural, recycling, ground care, parking areas, fire and safety. Additionally, responsible for ensuring that all inquiries are responded to in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to deliver the highest of standards consistently and to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests and employees.
Responsibilities will include talent leadership and development, ensuring execution and follow up of work, preparing requisitions for purchase and work orders, implementing preventative maintenance schedules, evaluating meter readings and consumption, and supporting the Safety Committee and the energy conservation program.

Our ideal Assistant Director of Engineering will have leadership experience in a hotel/resort environment and have expert technical knowledge of general building maintenance and environmental standards. Additionally you will be a passionate and motivated leader with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, have the highest level of integrity and transparency, strong business acumen, an eye for detail, a passion for service, and a desire to promote a continuous learning environment that creates an atmosphere for professional development opportunities.
All applicants must possess the legal right to work in Spain and have fluency in English and Spanish.
