What we look for?
We are looking for a Big Data Engineer with experience with Spark/Scala who will contribute to a project with one of our global customers, that is a international Bank. You will help to drive the delivery of Accounting E2E reporting within the Finance strategic transformation program. Working with local and group colleagues across the business and Information Technology areas, you will share in the technical and functional vision of the Chief Operating Office. This is an excellent opportunity to embrace Agile and work in an environment with leading edge technologies including, allowing time for self-development, and enjoying autonomy to make design decisions an take an active role in shaping the technical deliverables. High english level is required.
100% remote position for people located in Spain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to work across multiple activities adjusting to shifting priorities
• Delivering Finance cloud applications and data solutions.
• Reporting to a Software engineering manager and interacting with the development team, product owner and business stakeholders
• Ensuring knowledge sharing and promoting team spirit.
• Analysing current technical implementations and seek continuous improvement.
• Providing BAU support to variety of finance solutions.
• Provide technical support and training to technical leads on technology systems and data management tools.
• Lead and mentor a team of technology and data professionals to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

Mandatory requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience working with Big Data technologies
• Experience working with Spark/Scala
• AM engineering experience
• Continuous integration/deployment (Cl/CD)
• High English level (B2+/C1)

Desirable requirements:

• Unix/Linux bash shell programming
• SQL
• Technical Analysis
• Data analysis
• Software development and support.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to handle key stakeholders
