Corporate Account Manager - Spain

As Corporate Account Manager at STRIVE, you are an expert when it comes to expanding our customer portfolio in Spain; you'll constantly engage with prospective customers from various industries & sectors to fully grasp their climate needs and apply strategic thinking to tailor-made decarbonization solutions. By working strategically to offer clients STX's sustainable solutions, you genuinely help them move forward towards a greener future and execute their decarbonization strategies.
You will be part of an international, ambitious team that prioritizes effective communication, conducting daily check-ins and frequent visits to ensure seamless collaboration, and celebrating success as a team is important to us.
Key responsibilities
- You drive market share growth through strategic initiatives in Spain by proactively engaging in a targeted outreach, including cold-calling and market canvassing
- Foster and cultivate enduring client relationships over time, by building connections through in-person meetings, dinners, and activities, fostering both professional and personal relationships.
- You are the key executor of transactions in various regions on a multitude of products and you apply financial instruments and knowledge to structure complex deals with your corporate clients.
- You maintain regular communication with internal stakeholders, collaborating closely with technical product experts and policy teams for effective coordination.
- You stay up to date with dynamic regulatory shifts and legislative fundamentals in your designated region.
- 3+ years of relevant work experience, ideally in the areas of sales, trading, finance, banking, business development or account management including exposure to/or experience in renewable energy or environmental commodities market.
- Master's degree in one of the aforementioned relevant disciplines
- Profound feel for commercial transactions and deals; out-of-the-box thinking and an entrepreneurial mentality are your strengths, and you identify opportunities at an early stage
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate and work effectively in an intense team environment, while harnessing the ability to build direct working relationships
- Fluency in English and native Spanish in writing and speech
- Flexible to travel often and open to relocate to Madrid, Spain.
