The G-STAR E-Commerce Trade team consists of 12 people who carry the responsibility of optimizing sales performance and consumer experience for the G-STAR website and app, working closely together with teams like E-Commerce Content & Product, Digital Marketing, CRM and Planning to strive for optimal trading. Our e-commerce business is continuously growing, and we have some very ambitious growth targets for the coming years. We are continually exploring new techniques to bring the industry forward and always accelerating the pace in which we do business.
As the Digital Trade & Site Merchandise Coordinator, you will be instrumental in executing our visual merchandising and search optimization strategies across our digital platforms. Your primary focus will be to ensure that products are strategically positioned to enhance customer experience and drive online sales. By collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will help optimize on-site product presentation and search functionality, ensuring that our customers can easily find and engage with our product range. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the alignment of our site merchandising with the overall e-commerce strategy, reflecting seasonality, stock availability, and the latest trends.

Your tasks & responsibilities:
Site Merchandising & On-Site Search Optimization
Site Merchandising & On-Site Search Optimization
- Visual Merchandising Execution: Implement the visual merchandising (VM) strategy as directed by the Digital Trading Manager, ensuring optimal product placement and page organization.
- On-Site Checks: Conduct regular site audits to ensure product displays, recommendations, and search results align with the planned strategy.
- Search Optimization: Assist in optimizing on-site search performance by managing synonyms, filters, and search results to enhance user experience and drive conversions.
- A/B Test Support: Assist in setting up and executing A/B tests to validate merchandising strategies and improve site performance.
CRM & Content Coordination
- Seasonal and Promotional Alignment: Ensure that all communications across CRM platforms reflect current seasonality, weather conditions, and stock investments.
- Linking and Product Availability: Regularly check product availability and ensure correct linking within CRM campaigns, newsletters, and push notifications.
- Content Support: Assist in the creation and deployment of engaging content that highlights high-investment and best-selling products across the site and within customer communications.
Product Performance Reporting
- Reporting Prepare weekly reports on product performance, focusing on page and search performance, and provide insights on trends and areas for improvement.
- Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis on specific products or categories as needed, providing actionable recommendations to the Digital Trading Manager.
- Competitor Analysis: Monitor and report on competitor activities, identifying gaps and opportunities to inform merchandising strategies.
Here's what you bring to the table:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or a related field.
Experience: 2-4 years of experience in e-commerce, digital merchandising, or a related field.
Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or a related field.
Experience: 2-4 years of experience in e-commerce, digital merchandising, or a related field.
Skills:
- Proficiency in e-commerce platforms.
- Experience with digital merchandising tools. Algolia experience is preferred
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Experience with Tableau or similar is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with A/B testing and search optimization tools is a plus.
