Zinia is the new checkout lending platform of the Santander Group. Zinia makes shopping simple, offering the wider range of payments and financing solutions in the market, including the possibility of splitting payments into interest-free installments, in a fast and transparent way, powering merchants across Europe using the technology of Openbank and the sound financing expertise of Santander Consumer Finance.

This is an exciting opportunity to make your contribution over a growing market, with a solid expansion across different countries with global leading merchants, leading the Product & VAS for End-Customer segment, within our checkout lending business, coordinating our payments, and financing products with our App and customer portal.

Mission and responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced senior candidate to join our team as a Director of Products & VAS for Consumers taking part of our Checkout Lending Business. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch, for consumer facing products. You will drive product vision, define go-to-market strategies, create product roadmaps, lead UX decisions, and steer technical implementation discussions.

As a Director of Product, reporting to the Chief Product Officer of Zinia, your main responsibilities will include:

• Lead a cross-functional team (App, Payments, Financing and Value-Added Services) to jointly deliver solutions for our customers.
• Ensure consistency and coherence of Zinia consumer products across geographies, programs, and public landings while guaranteeing the proper alignment with Zinia products and services for Merchants.
• Lead RFPs from a Product perspective.
• Identify market opportunities and define product vision and strategy for the local markets.
• Lead the definition of the End-Customer experience improvements in Zinia, managing customer lifecycles: user and customer onboardings, shopping experience, payments and financing, loyalty, and recurrence.
• Align and define prioritization for new value proposition features - for customers and their products and services- and its roadmap.
• Supervise the CX of each of the End-Customer products in the Zinia portfolio
• Supervise the Zinia public landings for End-Customers.

To be successful in the role you must have.

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in business administration, Engineering, or related fields.
• Proven experience with high responsibility level in relevant positions to the new role.
• Consumer finance Services experience and/or experience in related fields., (Pref).
• Experience in product management in the global payments/financing industry.
• CX, customer conversion, regulatory analytical perspective.
• Superior organizational skills balancing multiple projects, deadlines, and requests.
• Customer focused & business oriented.
• Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive product decisions.
• High level of English.
• Other languages would be a plus (Spanish, German, Italian, French...).
