Accounts Payable accountant (FInance)


The opportunity
As a member of our team in the EY GDS Spain office in Malaga, you’ll have a chance to extend your knowledge & experience by working on interesting projects with the newest technologies and approaches. You’ll support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and take part in digital transformation


Your key responsibilities

• • • • Handle the recording and posting of incoming invoices in our workflow and SAP system. Register provisions, accruals and reclassifications
        
      • Be responsible for Accounts Payable reconciliation
        
      • Collaborate with the central team to maintain the vendor master data
        
      • Provide support in closing activities
        
      • Track and record employees’ expenses; re-invoice to customer.
        
      • Send regular report to central team
        
      • Collaborate in Audit or Tax inspections
        

To qualify for the role, you must have:

• At least 1 year of experience in accounting departments, in similar position
  
• Higher level training cycle in Administration and Finance / Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
  
• Knowledge of Local GAAP, taxes and regulations
  
• Upper Intermediate English Skills (B2 – C1)
  
• Experience in accounting and ERP software such as SAP or Mercury
  
• Advanced Excel skills
  
• Knowledge of MS Power BI (MS Pivot, MS Query). Nice to have
