- Develop API proxies using the APIGee tool and in adherence to the standard API specifications and maintain it.
- Challenge designs when errors are found to ensure best product is delivered and communicate the same with seniors and architecture team.
- Troubleshoot, resolve issues, participate in code reviews and provide feedback on best practices.
- Understand the importance of unit testing of the API and deliver error free APIs.
- Working knowledge of the Dev Ops tools.
- Understand the API specifications and if required should be able to modify them with the Open API standards.
- Develop the API proxies using the IDE/API management tool. Strong knowledge of the policies, sharedflows, truststores, certificates, authentication and authorization.
- Working knowledge of the Developer portal, YAML files, developer products and apps.
- Unit testing via postman/cucumber scripts.
- Build and deploy scripts, Dev Ops with working knowledge on code repositories (Bitbucket/Git Hub/Azure).
- Knowledge on message processors, Kubernetes, GCP console, APIGEE organizations and environments.
- Analysis and debugging production incidents, monitor logs, alerts, handle customer queries.
- Proficiency in API development and unit testing.
- Solid understanding of API security standards and best practices.
- Experience with API lifecycle management and governance.
- Having experience in Api Gee platform.
- Experience with monitoring tools and analytics.
- Good communication and team collaboration skills.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
- Certifications in Apigee or related technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Node Js.
