Overview:
Job Purpose
Main purpose of MSO Assoc Supervisor Procurement Excellence role is to manage programs that are part of the Data & Solutions pipeline for Europe Procurement (Directs and indirects, excl. Agro ) and build and maintain relationships with S&T organization (Global transformation and the different teams part of capabilities pillar) to ensure Europe requirements are captured and delivered in Global initiatives (Spend Visibility, contract management, SPM etc.)
Responsibilities:
Pepsi Co is hiring for MSO Assoc Supervisor Procurement Excellence role to be based in one of European offices: Krakow or Warsaw, Poland; Vitoria, Spain; Dublin, Ireland; Bern, Switzerland.
Job Purpose
Main purpose of MSO Assoc Supervisor Procurement Excellence role is to manage programs that are part of the Data & Solutions pipeline for Europe Procurement (Directs and indirects, excl. Agro ) and build and maintain relationships with S&T organization (Global transformation and the different teams part of capabilities pillar) to ensure Europe requirements are captured and delivered in Global initiatives (Spend Visibility, contract management, SPM etc.)
- Understand business requirements for Europe and how these translates into tech or data requirements,
- Provide enough information so budget estimates can be built for potential solutions,
- Identify potential solutions to solve business questions (taking into account latest market trends),
- Contribute with ideas for pipeline for upcoming years,
- Build and maintain connection with the global teams part of S&T,
- Ensure user satisfaction level is high by delivering business requirements and maintaining a proactive communication in case of delays,
- Apply Global Control Standards in the processes under his/her accountability, comply with GP Policy and other applicable policies as periodically updated and communicated, and ensure correct execution and documentation of controls.
On the job duties:
- Understand business requirements for Europe and how these translates into tech or data requirements,
- Identify opportunities and share those with digitalization lead for value creation across the procurement 7 step sourcing cycle for EP (Business and Market Intelligence, Supplier Performance Management, Contract Governance etc.);
- Support the introduction of Business Intelligence (coverage $ 4Bn+ Annual Spend) in Europe for directs and Indirects and identify new value creation opportunities. Data Analytics strategy
- Provide enough information so budget estimates can be built for potential solutions,
- Understand the process to manage the assigned programs, gather information on the time required to complete the task and estimate benefits of the potential solution (time efficiency and risk avoidance),
- Identify potential solutions to solve business questions (taking into account latest market trends),
- Introduce new digital technologies to solve business questions such as descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analytics, data science methods, Robotics Process Automation, data lakes, Artificial Intelligence Digital technologies;
- Connects and benchmarks externally to bring the outside in with most modern tools and solutions on the market,
- Contribute with ideas for pipeline for upcoming years,
- Manage programs that are part of the pipeline of digital projects across Europe for directs and indirects. Follow best practices for project management, network and act as Europe point of contact for global initiatives for those programs,
- Contribute to Beyond spend roadmap by identifying opportunities to transform data into insights /actions for GP that add value for sourcing team,
- Build and maintain connection with Global teams part of S&T,
- Ensure user satisfaction level is high by delivering business requirements and maintaining a proactive communication in case of delays.
- Ability to manage diverse data sources, including pre-processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data,
- Good Analytics and Modeling,
- Basic knowledge about Spend Visibility/ Business Intelligence Analytics,
- Good knowledge of Procurement Strategic Sourcing methodology,
- Basic knowledge of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) Sourcing,
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodology and experience applying to optimize a process within Procurement or similar function within SC or Operations,
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail,
- Very good project management skills,
- Reporting, Financial, analytical skills,
- Good interpersonal skills,
- Able to work independently, maintaining focus on priorities and the execution of the plan,
- Able to resolve issues and barriers independently,
- Able to work under pressure of tight deadlines,
- Able to influence senior stakeholders in decision making.
- University degree, MBA would be preferable.
- English as the working language, any other languages would be an advantage.

- Demonstrates effective communication, both orally and in writing including producing status reports, preparing, organizing and delivering presentations using appropriate tools and techniques.
