Quality Assurance Engineer (m/f/d)

All our contracts are by default unlimited (probation period is six months)
Compensation package: 97% fixed base salary paid monthly, with a 3% performance-based bonus paid annually, dependent on company performance.

Location-independency / flexibility:

Please note
As a Quality Assurance Engineer (m/f/d) you will get to dive deep into software, break it apart, and find its weaknesses. You have the power to improve products and deliver a better user experience. Your work matters!
Your main responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans for backend systems, web applications, and APIs
- Create and maintain test cases and test data
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and troubleshoot issues
- Participate in the design and development of automated tests
- Identify and document defects and track them in Azure Dev Ops
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality of our software products
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies
Your profile:
- University degree, vocational training or equivalent experience in IT or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in testing backend systems, web applications, and APIs
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices
- Experience in creating and executing test plans and test cases
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Java Script
- Experience in automated testing tools such as Postman, JMeter, or Playwright
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Fluent in English and Spanish, any additional language is a plus
