The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. • High school diploma or GED; 2 years’ experience in the sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional area.

• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; no work experience required.

• Must have experience in similar types of hotels: city hotel, corporate hotel, luxury segment, large conference capacity.
• A proactive sales person with direct selling experience in MICE Sales, able to provide a proven track record.
• Preferred experience in one or more of the following geographic markets: US/CANADA.
• An energetic individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, confidence and flair.
• A clear, logical thinker, able to work effectively and take responsibility for their own decisions.
• A clear ability to plan, action and manage a busy schedule with frequent interruptions.
• A quick learner, with the ability to be an energising force within the team and maintain the department’s level of respect and authority within the unit.
• A strong articulate presenter with the ability to sell to and deal with clients from all market segments, from junior to managing director level and able to ‘feel at home’ with varied audiences.
• Immaculate and elegant personal presentation.
• An open and personable style, with the ability to inspire confidence and trust.
• Mandatory : Fluent in English + Ability to travel minimum 12 weeks/year. Spanish good level essential. Other languages will be an advantage.
