YOUR TASKS:

• Ensure the ITIOT services of our wind turbines and projects being the primary one point of contact for Region (Spain, Africa, Asia and Oceania) for all SCADA activities including technical advisory and collaborating with the Global Support functions.
• Provide 1st level technical support for troubleshooting of Park IT and SCADA components on wind turbines.
• This includes hardware such as LPC/NFC/RFC, PHOENIX CONTACT, Hirschmann, Bachmann, Siemens switches and IT services such as availability and alarm data bases (SQL), online access, customer tradíng interfaces (CIF) and other.
• Work within Nordex ticket system Service Now to prioritize and solve technical incidents - Propose on-site actions to local technicians via ticket system, chat or phone.
• Assist customers to ensure remote access options are running.
• Handle direct collaboration with Park IT and Engineering teams in Headquarter.
• Implement special measures in wind farms such as configuration of local turbine components to serve as backup for other turbines.
• If necessary, on the job demonstrations such as demonstrating to local technicians how to exchange an LPC, NCSCM, etc.
• Local support for setting up and troubleshooting technician notebooks incl, maintenance of software applications such as virtual machines and converter software.
• Parameter changes/control for turbines or wind farms.
• Visit new turbine types to get hands-on experience with newest Nordex technology.
• Support solution database and technical knowledge articles.
• Review process descriptions and work instructions.
• Carry out internal and external SCADA trainings.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Professional education in l T, electro- or power electronic sector with a personal focus on related l T or SCADA systems // lnformation Technology, Computer Science or related technical field.
• Software and Communication Engineer with strong background in communication protocols & lo T.
• Experience in PLC programing, commissioning and maintenance of SCADA systems, experience on communication protocols.
• Experience in working with SCADA systems, e.g. Wind Power Plants or the power industry.
• Experience in working with Edge, Firewall and OT/IT Gateway.
• Experience in PLC programing, commissioning and maintenance of SCADA systems, experience on communication protocols (IEC104, IEC101, MODBUS, DNP, OPC UA/DA, REST, MQTT) SCADA, MS Windows and SQL server knowledge.
• Experience in working with SCADA systems, e.g. Wind Power Plants or the power industry.
• Experience in working with Edge, Firewall and OT/IT Gateway systems.
• Well-organized, team-minded, customer-oriented with problem-solving skills evidenced by demonstrated results in past positions.
• High level of written and spoken English (C1).
