• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local accounting standards and regulatory obligations, ensuring full compliance.
• Coordinate and manage the external audit process, liaising with auditors, working with colleagues to provide the necessary documentation. Plus support any internal audit reviews and requests.
• Prepare monthly management accounts including informative commentary, with support from finance colleagues, to meet PS and group deadlines and reporting requirements.
• Analyse financial data and provide insights to PS senior management for decision-making.
• Maintain and enhance internal controls for financial reporting, adhering to relevant control frameworks i.e. Financial Reporting Council’s Corporate Governance Code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• As the technical subject matter expert remain up to date on changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements, brief colleagues and implement any necessary changes.
• Assist in the preparation of management reports and presentations for the Board of Directors.
• Communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner to senior management and other stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the financial reporting function and work to implement best practices.
• Support the integration of new systems and tools to enhance financial reporting capabilities.

• Hold a professional accounting qualification, with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience.
• Deep experience of financial reporting, within a division of a global, large business including consolidations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of IFRS financial reporting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and internal controls for financial reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with finance ERPs and reporting software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

• Experience in the financial services or data analytics industry is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
