The Embassy of Pakistan in Madrid is looking for a Social Secretary to the Ambassador.
Duties:
Ambassador Tasks

• Maintenance of Ambassador's daily agenda and programme.
• Maintenance of personal files of the Ambassador.
• Communicate with local authorities for incoming delegations for meetings.
• Provide assistance in the organization of official events and meetings at CHancery, Mission Residence, and other places as directed by Ambassador / Head of Chancery.
• Air ticket booking and visa handling matters (Note Verbales, Visa forms, Checklists, etc.) of Ambassador, family members and domestic servants.
• Maintenance of contact lists: Ambassadors, heads of UN and international organizations, NGOs, media, academia and think tanks and Pakistani Community based in Spain.
• Dealing and maintenance of official correspondence and record related to gifts and business cards of Ambassador.

Administrative tasks

• Obtain Accreditation cards/airport passes for all Mission's officials, car parking stickers and processing of renewals.
• Deal all the matters regarding hiring of accomodations for Embassy Staff.
• To print out the monthly invoices of utilities, insurances, fue, etc.
• Liaise wiith domestic help and gardener on maintenance for Residence Garden.
• Liaise with medical insurance agency for issuance of medical cards, authorizations and other services.

Miscellaneous

• Assistance in matetrs related to Diplomatic Annual Bazar, and any other event.
• Any other work assigned from time to time by Ambassador and Head of Chancery.

Eligibility Criteria

• Graduation Degree with native speakers of Spanish Language and must be fluent in English.
• Basic Computer Skills (MS Office) with appropiate skills in typing both English and Spanish.
• Must be legally able to work in Spain.

Desirable

• Knowledge of Protocol Duties.
• Knowledge of local/private functioning.

Salary: 1.500 - 1.700€ monthly.
