Solution Architect

We are looking for a Solution Architect with experience and knowledge in AWS and Java and open-minded personality, who can join our friendly environment and become a core contributor to our team of experts.
As Solution Architect you’ll be responsible for designing robust, scalable and secure solutions, aligning with our client’s roadmap. This particular opportunity is related to one of our Spain based clients, so Spanish language is a must from project perspective, and fluent English-speaking skills are essential from career perspective at EPAM.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and architect enterprise-grade solutions on AWS, leveraging best practices and advanced AWS features to optimize performance and cost
- Develop and maintain scalable and efficient backend systems using Java Spring Boot, ensuring high levels of performance and reliability
- Lead the integration of AWS services with Java Spring Boot applications based on Docker Kubernetes deployment, focusing on creating seamless workflows and enhancing user experiences
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring best practices in software architecture and cloud deployment
- Conduct architectural reviews and assessments, recognizing areas of improvement for existing systems and proposing actionable solutions
- Continuously research and adopt new technologies that can enhance the functionality and efficiency of our solutions
- Document architectural designs and processes, ensuring comprehensive knowledge sharing and alignment among team members
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong knowledge and experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Java
- Proficiency in architecture design
- Experience with Spring Boot for backend system development
- Ability to provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams
- Knowledge of Docker
- Experience in conducting architectural reviews and proposing actionable solutions
- Continuous learning and adoption of new technologies to enhance solutions
- Ability to document architectural designs and processes for knowledge sharing
- Fluency in Spanish and English
