flexword Germany Gmb H is an internationally operating language service provider with a business focus on translation management with its Spanish permanent establishment located in Madrid, Spain. Since 1992 we have developed into one of the top-performing language service providers in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region, with additional locations in Great Britain, the US, Spain and Serbia.
In February 2024, we opened our new office in Spain, for which we are now looking for further support.
Your Tasks:

• Processing customer translation enquiries, preparing quotes for translation and localisation projects and advising clients
• Managing translation and localisation projects with CAT tools (SDL Trados, Across and Memo Q etc.)
• Compiling and managing the team of translators, monitoring the progress of the project, ensure quality standards and deadlines
• Post production quality assurance checks, translation memory and terminology maintenance
• Close collaboration with the Customer Relations Management to ensure customer specifications are met
• Account management and customer service

Your Qualifications

• Fluency in German (C2 - at native speaker level) and excellent command of English
• At least 2 years of experience as a translation project manager
• Experience in the translation industry (translation and localisation services, editing etc.)
• Degree in either translation studies, linguistic, business or IT / media design related field
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, other Microsoft based applications and CAT tools

Optional Qualifications and Skills

• Experience in CAT-Tools such as SDL Trados Studio, Across, Memo Q is an advantage
• Experience with In Design, Frame Maker is an advantage
• Excellent technical problem solving skills
