Analysis Engineer

As an Analysis Engineer at Minesto, you will be a part of an international, dedicated development team working towards the commercialisation of a game-changing renewable ocean energy technology with global expansion potential. We offer a high-paced, dynamic environment at the core of innovative climate tech.
The role
You will be responsible for FE analysis of various components and sub-systems for our tidal energy power plants, from initial design to delivery of parts and assemblies. Simulation and analysis in Abaqus environment are a crucial part of your role. You will work in various advanced, tech-driven development projects, in close collaboration with our design engineers, supporting our kite manufacturing processes and work sites. As well as your core role of structural calculation, developing Minesto technology will form part of your everyday work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Structural analysis of various mechanical parts and sub systems of the power plant
- Contribute to the power plant design process while working closely with the design engineering team
- Participate in testing and certification activities in labs and offshore environments
Your profile
We are looking for an experienced Analysis Engineer who is analytical, collaborative and self-motivated, who ideally has work experience in subsea technologies and or composite materials. You should possess a positive and open-minded attitude, enjoying new challenges and problem solving, with a curiosity of & interest in technology.
Key Qualifications:
- MSc Engineering degree Structural Engineering or relevant discipline
- Abaqus experience is advantageous
