About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate backend developer with strong cloud experience to join our dynamic team! You will be contributing to the development of a highly-rated shopping app used by millions of users worldwide. Our team is dedicated to enhancing the customer shopping journey by incorporating innovative technologies, responding to user feedback, and continually improving the user experience. We are expanding our app to new markets globally and adding new features to support in-store experiences.
As a backend developer, you will play a key role in building high-quality, scalable solutions using Type Script in a cloud environment. You will be part of a team that encourages good practices, agility, and continuous improvement in software development. You should be adaptable, able to change direction based on new ideas and feedback, and collaborate effectively with team members to achieve common goals.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services for our high-traffic shopping app.
• Utilize cloud platforms to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Monitor and optimize cloud services to ensure high availability and performance.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices to continuously improve our products.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a backend developer in a cloud environment.
• Strong proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Node.js, Type Script, Docker, and Nest JS.
• Experience in monitoring cloud services and optimizing performance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment.
• A proactive approach to learning and implementing new technologies and methods.
