Are you a tech-savvy salesperson with experience working with key accounts? Barnes Strömsholmen is now seeking a Sales Manager to help shape the future for global military vehicle manufacturers. In this key role, you will have the opportunity to represent a leading company with strong growth potential and be part of a dynamic work environment with dedicated colleagues.
Job Description
As a Sales Manager, you will lead sales efforts by both strengthening relationships with existing customers and actively exploring new markets and developing innovative product solutions. Your clients are spread across the globe – from Sweden and Finland to France, Germany, Turkey, India, and Saudi Arabia – meaning you can expect 25-40 travel days per year.
In close collaboration with the development department and the global network, you, as Sales Manager, will ensure that the company’s products not only meet but exceed customer expectations. Through co-development and customization of modular products, you will play a key role in creating value and building long-term relationships.
Examples of tasks:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
- Identifying and developing new customers and projects.
- Negotiating contracts and driving deals from quote to closure.
- Providing technical support and guidance to customers, in close collaboration with the product manager.
- Participating in trade shows and global customer meetings to drive the company’s international growth.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
- Proven experience in technical sales and working with Key Accounts, preferably within the defense industry.
- Ability to negotiate and close deals with attention to detail.
- Strong technical knowledge, preferably in vehicle technology or mechanics.
- Fluency in both Swedish and English, in both speech and writing.
To succeed in this role, you should be self-motivated, structured, and skilled at building long-term relationships. This role suits someone who thrives in complex sales where project cycles span several years.
