The Position
Do you have knowledge and experience working with sales and marketing within Swedish healthcare, Clinical chemistry? Business Segment Manager- Core Lab
We are now looking for a Business Segment Manager to join our dedicated Commercial Excellence team focused on Clinical Chemistry. As a Business Segment Manager at Roche Diagnostics, you have the ability to influence your own development and you get the opportunity to be the orchestrator of customer development opportunities that improves and optimizes healthcare resources and that delivers and implements the best possible solutions within Clinical Chemistry.

The Business Segment Manager’s main purpose is to create better health outcomes by delivering:
1. Clear support from stakeholders for early implementation of high health impact launches into clinical routine
2. More co-designed and tested win-win opportunities through commercial excellence

Key Job Responsibilities:
Customer and market needs and insights:
  • Responsible for the summary of data insights about our market and competitors
  • Turn insights into clear, co-created, Business Segment strategies

Ensuring implementation of Roche Solutions:
  • Co-create go-to-market strategies based on experiments and interactions with relevant external stakeholders
  • Overall responsible for localization of the value proposition, including key messages to be used in the market

Commercial Excellence and value capturing
  • Own and lead, selected, sales opportunities
  • Responsible for the Business Segment Strategy - Core lab solutions
  • Responsible for the commercial strategy in RFI/tender initiatives to support optimal value capturing
  • Proactively support and coach the Commercial Specialists to identify, drive and win opportunities

Your focus is to get insights and understand the needs of our market and customers within Clinical Chemistry. To ensure implementation of Roche solutions. To capture the value, bring commercial excellence. You have a growth mindset and willingness to develop a strategic approach to stakeholder management. You are furthermore comfortable interacting with senior levels within healthcare departments and you have an in-depth understanding of Roche offering within Core Lab in focus. You are skilled at project management, and you can identify the right expertise needed to drive an opportunity forward. Have the ability to navigate and work within a changing organization, maintaining objectivity, respect for differences of opinion, fairness, and open communication and feedback. You are very independent in your work and like to take initiative. It is also important that you are a team player that likes to contribute to the group and collaborate towards common goals.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 7 years of sales and/or marketing experience within Swedish Healthcare
  • University degree in relevant field
  • Proficient in Swedish and English
  • Strong understanding of clinical laboratory medicine customers/medtech and decision making processes
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of the Swedish healthcare system and regional and national decision making
  • Experience in managing relationships with KOLs
  • Overarching knowledge of Roche offering across all customer / disease areas and deep understanding within the designated area for this position
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Project management and informal leadership
  • Experience with common Sales methodology (Miller Heiman, Gold Sheet)
  • No restriction for traveling
  • Located in Sweden, Stockholm area
