JOB DESCRIPTION
Are you a master of sculpting clay? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of automotive design? We are seeking a Senior Clay Modeler to join our automotive team and shape the future of mobility.
As a Senior Clay Modeler, you will play a crucial role in the development of next generations of vehicles. Your responsibility will be to translate 2D/3D design concepts into clay models on interior and exterior, 3D scanning of physical models, preparation of model armatures, preparation of models and parts for milling and paint.

You will collaborate closely with our design and engineering teams on existing and new projects in different phases of design development, to ensure that the clay models accurately represent the intended aesthetics and functional requirements.

YOUR PROFILE
Responsibilities:

• Transform 2D/3D design sketches and digital models into physical clay models with precise attention to detail.
• Utilize various sculpting techniques to create realistic and visually appealing clay models.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to refine and iterate on clay models based on feedback and requirements.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the clay models throughout the development process.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum experience (8+ years) Clay modelling within the automotive industry.
• A genuine interest in new studio technology and willingness to learn new ways of working.
• Fluent in English (speaking and writing) communicative and ability to work within a multi-cultural team.
• Full design studio and workshop knowledge including the safe operation of workshop machinery.
• We are looking for an enthusiastic and positive individual who will add to our team.
