We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Leader to join our team in Sweden as a Country HR Manager. This role is crucial as we navigate an exciting period of evolution within ECARX Sweden, which was established in 2021. As we continue to expand within the ECARX group, you will play a pivotal role in establishing new business ventures as well as reshaping existing operations. Your expertise will be essential in supporting the business, providing reliable guidance, and ensuring a personalized employee experience that adds significant value.

In this role, you will work closely with managers and employees throughout the employment cycle, offering expert advice and coaching across a diverse range of HR areas. This is a generalist role, covering the full spectrum of HR responsibilities from talent management to organizational design and transformation. You will provide both day-to-day operational support and contribute to the longer-term strategies of the company. As the primary HR resource in ECARX Sweden, you will report to the International HR VP in the UK and have access to support from a centralized HR team as needed.
Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Support: Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to advise and coach on effective HR practices related to recruitment, performance management, talent management, compensation, and policies, ensuring alignment with the evolving needs of the business.
Union Collaboration: Work closely with the Workers' Union, ensuring that all HR practices comply with union agreements and that a collaborative and productive relationship is maintained.
Data-Driven Guidance: Utilize HR expertise and data insights to provide continuous support to managers on people-related matters, helping them to embed best practices within their teams.
Talent Acquisition: Work with the Director of Recruitment to develop and implement hiring plans, providing advice on attracting top talent across multiple locations, with a focus on the unique challenges of the Swedish market.
Immigration & Relocation: Offer guidance on immigration, visa sponsorship, and international relocations, ensuring smooth transitions for incoming talent.
Onboarding & Induction: Support managers in delivering a seamless onboarding process, ensuring new hires have a positive and engaging start with the company.
Absence & Sickness Management: Oversee absence and sickness cases, ensuring they are managed effectively and in line with company policies and union agreements.
Annual HR Cycles: Support managers with all annual HR processes, including performance management, HR database maintenance, learning and development (L&D), and reward and recognition initiatives.
Disciplinary & Grievance Handling: Manage disciplinary and grievance cases with a fair and consistent approach, ensuring compliance with local laws and union regulations.
Project Management: Lead and project manage various people-related initiatives as part of a global HR team, ensuring alignment with the broader strategic goals of ECARX.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with multiple teams to support the organization's mission and uphold its values, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Qualifications:

HR Expertise: Demonstrated generalist HR experience with in-depth knowledge of Swedish employment law and experience working with Workers' Unions.
Growth Experience: Proven experience in an HR role supporting a business in a growth phase, particularly within a start-up environment.
Recruitment Acumen: Interest and knowledge in the latest techniques for successfully recruiting technical talent.
Stakeholder Management: Ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholder groups across the organization.
Commercial Savvy: A commercial mindset with a willingness to challenge and drive HR initiatives that align with business goals.
Adaptability: Comfortable operating in a start-up environment where policies and procedures are still evolving.
Resilience: Ability to handle ambiguity and change with a positive, flexible attitude.
Communication Skills: Excellent presentation and communication skills, capable of delivering information succinctly and engagingly across all levels.
Prioritization: Strong ability to prioritize effectively among competing stakeholder demands.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office, with the capability to work independently with data to produce high-quality reports and derive actionable insights.
