Job Description:
Continuous Integration (CI) is at the core of our developer experience. xx's growth and widespread presence have led us to require an ever wider and deeper range of target platforms to run CI against. In a context where early adoption and swift flexibility is at utmost importance we need to provide CI environments that enables us to deliver functionality to our customers with both speed and safety. This role will be part of a team collaboratively creating and owning our CI infrastructure for xx which aims to provide our developers with a streamlined, simple to use, and safe build experience at scale.
The role is located in the Platform Developer Experience (PDX) studio within the Platform Mission. The PDX Studio oversees and owns the infrastructure that cuts across all engineering disciplines at xx
What you’ll do

Execute on xx’s future CI infrastructure strategy that can serve 3000+ engineers doing 100’s thousands of builds daily and beyond
Support with Operational tasks keeping our systems healthy and up-to-date
Drive the automation and improvements of our CI system across our current technical stacks.
Help scale our CI infrastructure to support large-scale monorepos.
Collaborate with Infrastructure teams across the company to discover what a best-in-class CI infrastructure means.
Key Responsibilities:
You are an experienced engineer familiar with Linux, Mac OS, and Windows as well as Networking fundamentals
You are an experienced Software Engineer with Java and Python
You have experience deploying and implementing solutions in GCP, Azure, and/or AWS.
You believe in iteration and know that finding the right solution is more important than the first.
You like to focus on standardization and automation; always looking for ways to improve the developer experience
You have 6+ years of experience in building and implementing large-scale systems across various projects and teams
You have familiarity with and enthusiasm for software engineering best practices such as testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery
