- JBAndrews is working with a global Supply Chain Solutions provider operating globally across industries, with a focus on Retail, Fashon, FMCG, Technology, and Automotive customers in the main.
- They are looking to continue the growth of their Contract Logistics/Warehousing & Distribution products in Europe mainly where the product today is immature.
- Due to recent customer acquisition and the intention to grow, the business requires an experienced Contract Logistics / Warehousing Development Manager/Director level individual to help drive customer excellence and growth in Sweden, in order to maximise efficiency, and minimise costs to the network with a particular focus on the Gothenburg sites.
- This position has a strong commercial focus will involve fostering new relationships, taking final decisions on which to keep and which to cut, and helping to generate new business to be fostered for the long-term as the product grows from an almost entirely greenfield current setup.
- The role will come with responsibility for newly developed clients, and current customer accounts too, as well as full financial responsibility for the Contract Logistics product.
- The main functions of the role will be the Warehouse Design, Cost Calculations, Budgeting, and assisting with Tender processes, while building and upgrading the teams in place too.
- Behavioural Competencies: Directs Work, Drives Engagement, Develops Talent, Ensures Accountability, and Upgrades Decision Quality.
- Bachelor’s degree in a Logistics related field preferred.
- The business is seeking someone with a background in Contract Logistics at a senior level within the Warehousing & Distribution sector specifically.
- Experience in Contract Logistics (Warehousing & Distribution) is essential, ideally with a consultative style approach with both multi-user and dedicated site experience.
- You should possess at least 7 years’ experience in Contract Logistics leadership consistently performing to ensure targets are hit and the logistical aspects are satisfied on a day-to-day, and strategic, level, with blue chip organisations.
- Ideally the candidate will be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills through prior experience on a Regional level.
- Grassroots experience in a logistics environment in a number of different disciplines and locations would be highly beneficial.
- The ideal candidate will be based in Gothenburg, Sweden, and will be eligible to work in the location.
