Who You'll Work With
You will join our finance department with three colleagues as a part-time finance intern in our Stockholm office.
What You'll Do
In this role, as part of the finance department's work is outsourced to the Shared Service Center in India, there is a strong focus on review, control, and support. You will have daily contact with our colleagues in India and our finance team in the Nordic countries.
As our part-time finance intern, your main responsibilities will be accounts payable for nine Swedish entities and one entity in Iceland. You will review all incoming AP invoices and make sure that all mandatory information according to Swedish accounting principles is stated in the invoice. You will reconcile reminders from vendors, investigate the status, and do follow-ups. You will gather the participant list and agenda for venue invoices. You will add barcodes and scan invoices in batches to the global operations team. You will assist with critical manual payments. You will work closely with the vendor support team and payment team.
As part of your role, you will be the key contact person for the Mc Kinsey supplier onboarding system ARAVO in Sweden. You will assist in the month end close process to collect timesheets and send reminders of missing timesheets to employees. Moreover, you will assist in the benefit in kind process regarding meals and send information to the HR department. You will assist and remind employees of the allocation of monthly taxi allocations. You will also perform continuous archiving and other ad hoc tasks within finance.

Qualifications
- University student
- Some experience related to accounting and finance
- Computer literate (e.g., Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook)
- Fluency in Swedish is required, and you also need to understand Danish and Norwegian languages
- Ability for independence
- Solution-oriented and service-oriented
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
- Ability to adapt in a high-paced environment
