Job Description

As a Finance Manager at Sobi, you will have the overall responsibility for accounting and reporting for the parent company and the Swedish subsidiaries. You will work in a broad role with a major focus on reporting, development and streamlining of processes and routines. Furthermore, you will be responsible to lead and develop a team of 12 people. As a finance manager for the parent company, you will have a close collaboration with the HQ finance functions and the subsidiaries around the world. You will report to Head of Group Accounting & Reporting. Placement is at Sobi’s head office in Solna, Stockholm

Key Responsibilities
  • Overall legal responsibility for the parent company Sobi AB and associated Swedish subsidiaries (SOI and Arexis AB)
  • Lead and develop the employees in the team, a total of 12 employees, of which you have direct personnel responsibility for 8 employees
  • Responsibility for reporting to the group of monthly, quarterly, and annually for the parent company and the Swedish subsidiaries
  • Be responsible for accounting matters in the Swedish companies and support Group in accounting matters
  • Ongoing dialogue with the Director Finance ERP Project & Digitization to contribute to the work of driving development, improvements, and digitalization of working methods and processes
  • Budget and forecasting responsibility for the Swedish finance function
  • Prepare legal annual reports for the Swedish subsidiaries
  • Cooperate with HQ functions (Group Accounting & Reporting, Tax, VAT, Treasury and Business Control) and other subsidiaries around the world
  • Reporting of sustainability data for the parent company and the Swedish subsidiaries
  • Contact with authorities for the parent company and the Swedish subsidiaries
  • Contact with auditors for the parent company and the Swedish subsidiaries
  • Work environment responsibility

Qualifications
You have a background from one of the major audit firms and have an additional 5 to 10 years’ experience of working as a finance manager. Furthermore, you have experience leading people and are used to working in a changing environment. We would like to see that you have worked in a listed environment and preferably internationally. It is meditative, but not a requirement if you have experience in pharmaceutical companies and/or Life Science. Fluent in Swedish and English is required.
