Developing our Advisory offering
At Danske Bank, we place our customers at the center of all we do. As Swedish Head of Corporate & Sustainability Advisory you will have an important part in securing safe operations, growth and prosperity for our largest Swedish corporate customers. Together with a team of advisors you will act as a strategic and analytical sparring partner, advising our customers on capital structure, funding strategy, acquisition capacity, debt capacity, credit considerations, sustainability insights and more.
Organizationally the Corporate & Sustainability Advisory team is placed in Sustainable Finance in Large Corporates & Institutions. We work closely with senior bankers and other units such as Loan and Debt Capital Markets, Corporate Finance, Foreign Exchange & Interest Rate Derivatives, to deliver tailormade strategic advisory and financial solutions - to each situation and each client. The team collaborates closely with corresponding advisory teams in other Nordic countries, and as team head you will report to the Nordic Head of Corporate & Sustainability Advisory.
Today, the Swedish team acts as a strategic and analytical sparring partner to the largest corporates in Sweden. Our business relationships and advisory input largely covers three key areas: corporate solutions, risk and sustainable finance.
A key focus in Danske Bank’s Forward’28 strategy is to further support our customers in navigating the transition toward a greener future. A drive to further develop and embed sustainability in the more traditional business advisory topics will therefore be high on your agenda.

The role
This position offers great opportunity for you to make your mark on the future of Corporate & Sustainability Advisory in Danske Bank. You will lead, expand and motivate your team in Sweden, while also fostering cross-Nordic co-operations and utilizing synergies.
You will proactively develop our offerings and services while always being on the lookout for trends and tendencies that have an impact on our customers. It is expected that you take charge in mapping customer needs and making sure that we cater to them. You recognize and help lift Danske bank’s strategic role in the green transition by sharing your expertise and advice to promote development on sustainable finance.

To succeed in this role, you should be:

An experienced leader who works well in team settings, is comfortable with taking initiative and creating an environment of proactiveness
An effective problem-solver who enjoys solving complex problems and communicating them in a simple way
Highly experienced within relevant financial analysis and analysis modelling
Committed and have sufficient knowledge to support our clients’ transition to a sustainable and low-carbon economy through financing and advising
An inspirer with solid commercial mindset, innovative drive, communication and presentation skills
